Packeteer Certification Training


Packeteer Certification Trainings are small lab-based classes, with a very hands-on approach to learning. Each student works with his or her own laptop and PacketShaper (provided for class). These classes will help you better understand both basic functions of your PacketShaper, as well as teach you more advanced tips & tricks, with special add-ons, views and reports you've probably never seen. PacketShaper Level I - Packeteer Specialist

Packeteer Specialist course is the first level of training the Packeteer Training and Certification Program. This instructor-led course provides an effective mix of operational theory and hands-on performance-based exercises, and is intended for individuals requiring basic operational knowledge and skills; i.e., network/system administrators responsible for daily management of PacketShaper.

PacketShaper Level II - Advanced Traffic Analysis & Troubleshooting

This is an advanced technical training course that provides the expertise necessary to perform traffic analysis, and diagnose troubleshooting problems related to network performance, network integrity and traffic flow. It also covers troubleshooting PacketShaper hardware, software and configuration, and solving problems related to capacities, limits, and performance. The course looks deeply into command line operation of Packeteer devices; advanced visibility, control and acceleration options; troubleshooting strategies, and the use of diagnostic tools.

PacketShaper Intensive (Levels I & II)

PacketShaper Intensive combines Packeteer Specialist and Packeteer Advanced Traffic Analysis and Troubleshooting courses in a condensed 5-day delivery. This instructor-led course guides a network-savvy candidate from basic PacketShaper operations to advanced analysis and troubleshooting topics in a mix of approximately 35% / 65% lecture and hands-on labs.

Students must have a solid understanding of networking and detailed working knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol suite.
